Here we like to present you some photos of our Spanish for Kids course (February to May 2015). Sofia, the director of Terracentro, taught Spanish to two children from the United States.

During the course they made -every friday- excursions to touristic and cultural sites in Quito.

Photos of the Terracentro Travelling Classroom

Terracentro Spanish School offers a Travelling Classroom program with a duration of 3 to 6 weeks in order to visit different sites in Ecuador and study Spanish at the same time.

The travelling classroom includes Quito, Machachi (hosteria Papagoyo), Otavalo, Baños, Montañita (at the Pacific Coast, a paradise for surfers) and Cuenca.

Paola - Spanish Teacher

Paola is one of our Teachers at Terracentro. Here she tells us abou teaching Spanish in Terracentro.

Hi, my name is Paolo and I am a teacher at Terracentro. My recommendation for you is to come to Ecuador to learn Spanish because we will teach you not only the theory of the language. You will also learn a lot of knowledge about Spanish that will help you to travel and study in South America and Spain.

With the help of the Spanish knowledge you will get to know a lot of people not only in Ecuador but in whole South America.

Buenas tardes, soy Paola, soy profesora en Terracentro y yo les recomiendo que vengan estudiar en Ecuador. No solo van a aprender la teoría sino conocimientos que les van a ayudar en sus viajes, en sus estudios. Con estos conocimientos van a poder conocer muchos países de Suramérica, van a poder ir a España y van a poder conocer mucha gente interesante, no solo en el Ecuador sino a lo largo de Sudamérica.

Today, we like to present you Liliana. Liliana works at Terracentro as a Teacher:

"Hi, my name is Liliana and I like that my students call me Lili. I am a Spanish teacher at Terreacentro. I like to teach here in the school because we teach our students not only the language but also the culture of Ecuador.

For example every friday we do some culture activities. We visit for example touristic sites in Qutio."

Spanish for kids

We offer a course for kids. That course is called “Spanish for kids”. It is a course for children between 6 and 12 years old. It is a really nice course. We just finish oe course with two kids from the United States who stayed here for four month. Sofia Villacis was the teacher.

The tools we use to teach Spanish to children are others than the tools we use to teach the language to adults. We use  a lot of interesting material like videos and fun games to learn vocabulary.

In the course we also include a visit per week to parks, museums and other points of interest in Quito (for example Mitad del Mundo).

So it is very easy to learn Spanish for the kids. The kids enjoy it and have a lot of fun.

Spanish Courses in Terracentro

A short introduction to our Spanish courses:

We offer different kind of Spanish courses: we offer regular courses for students who are studying here 20 or 10  hours per week. We also offer courses for travellers who are spending a couple of weeks in Quito and want to use the language to travel around Ecuador and/or South America.

Other courses in our School are Online lessons, Spanish for kids and the Travelling Classroom program. That is a course for people who like to travel and learn the language at the same time.
